We the Governors, staff and children would like to welcome you to our lovely school. We very much hope that you will enjoy reading this prospectus and will find it useful in answering any questions you may have.

Our school was established in 1876 and we are delighted to remain a central part of the local community. We are fortunate to enjoy large grounds which we continue to develop to enhance our children’s learning and enjoyment.

We truly believe that children are at the heart of everything we do and as a result pupil voice and involvement is integral to our ethos. Collectively, we are very proud of our school, all that we achieve together and the fun we have along the way.

The strong, supportive partnerships we have with parents and the community help us to achieve our aims and enable the children to become happy, confident, independent learners. We hope you will feel fully involved in the life of our school and enjoy working together with us to make your child’s time with us a happy and successful one.

Our motto "happy, valued and achieving together" is one we feel applies to all of us and is something we are constantly striving for.

It is hard to give a flavour of any school in a few short paragraphs and therefore we extend an open invitation to you to visit at any time. We will be ready to welcome you whenever you wish to come and see us so please do come and see for yourself!
