Bullying - A Charter for Action

We are working with staff, pupils and parents to create a school community where bullying is not tolerated.

Our School Community:
  • Discusses, monitors and reviews our anti bullying policy on a regular basis.
    • This means that because bullying is not very nice we don’t let it happen and our policy helps to stop it.
  • Supports staff to identify and tackle bullying appropriately.
    • This means that we train the staff.
  • Ensures that pupils are aware that all bullying concerns will be dealt with sensitively and effectively.
    • This means that we can all feel happy and safe.
  • Reports back to parents/carers regarding their concerns on bullying.
    • This means the school talks to parents.
  • Seeks to learn from anti bullying good practice elsewhere and untilises the support of the LEA and relevant statutory/voluntary organisations when appropriate.
    • This means we use other people’s good ideas to help us.
