Our Vision

At North Baddesley Infant School we are committed to valuing and nurturing each child as an individual who will achieve their best and develop a thirst for lifelong learning. Our vision is for the children in our school to grow into responsible, caring and fulfilled adults who actively and positively contribute to the society in which they live.

To do this, our aim is to create children who are taught to take pride in themselves and their work. We want them to relate positively with other children and adults in order to develop respect, tolerance and a caring attitude towards each other and the world around them. Our aim is to create happy, confident, independent learners who have a clear sense of their own self worth. We want the children to be happy and enthusiastic in order for them to learn and achieve their full potential.

Our mission is to provide an environment that enables children to realise their social, moral, spiritual, physical and intellectual potential and empower them with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to do this, regardless of ability, race, age or gender. We develop enquiring minds through fun, stimulating learning experiences and the challenge of high expectations. With constant praise and encouragement we ensure happy children who grow in security, self esteem and confidence; who are inquisitive and eager to learn. We celebrate every success and work as a team to promote inclusive, child- centred, active learning. We work in partnership with all members of the school community and regard mutual respect and value as fundamental to our ethos.
